Where can I find out more about the Board of Barclays?
The biographies of each of the members of the Barclays Board and Executive Committee of Barclays are shown in the Annual Report on p152-153. You can also view them online in the 2008 annual report.
Where can I find out more about the terms used in the Annual Report?
The Glossary of Terms is included in the Annual Report on p326. You can also view the Glossary online.
Where can I find the consolidated income statement and consolidated balance sheet?
The consolidated income statement and consolidated balance sheet are contained in the Annual Report p204-205. Further detail on individual line items are found in the Notes to the accounts section of the Annual Report from p210. The consolidated income statement, consolidated balance sheet and Notes to the accounts are also available online.
Has Barclays got a clearly defined Mission Statement?

You do not have to receive paper shareholder documentation from us. An increasing number of shareholders receive their Barclays communications electronically and are discovering the convenience of using the internet and email to find out about their shareholdings and Barclays. Where can I find more shareholder information?
The easiest way to get your shareholder information is at our website www.barclays.com. We launched our new corporate website last year, making it easier for you to find the information you need. As well as our annual results you can find our half year results, interim management statements and information about your dividends on the website on the day that they are announced.
